We were six adults and 3 teenagers staying at The Bougainvillea with my daughter and her partner and children. We arrived late at night and when we pulled up outside, the villa was lit up and looked stunning. A minibus had been sent to pick us up at Dalaman ~Airport as promised…excellent service. The owners had thought of everything and Oz who managed the villa was an absolute gem (in my daughter’s words) ‘everyone must have an Oz’. . There was nothing that he would not do for you and you could text him at any time of day. He was there to personally greet you and made you feel welcome straight away. There was nothing left to chance in this accommodation, literally everything you needed was there. Spotlessly clean beautiful marble staircases and lovely bedrooms. The swimming pool is outstanding and just as big as some of the hotels, plenty of room for a big family to really enjoy their swims and play. A little walk to the beautiful harbour and bustling life, but well worth being a little walk away, for the wonderful peace and quiet by night. So much to do in Marmaris people are wonderful and even one of the residents nearby gave us his laptop to check if the video that was taken of my grandaughter scuba diving was OK before we brought it home. One of the best holidays ever. Grateful thanks to the owners for thinking of all the little touches and to Oz for making an absolutely wonderful two weeks.

We were a group of 8. Two families, which consisted of 4 Adults, 3 Children (one disabled) and 1 infant.

We arrived after midnight so wasn’t expecting to take much in until the morning but despite the darkness, when we pulled up to the villa it took our breathe away!! The pool was beautifully lit, it was stunning. Indoors didn’t disappoint either. The kids quickly scattered to find their preferred rooms, and there was plenty of them to choose from. All of which were equipped with wardrobes/drawers and air con. The air con was really good. So much better than the ones we’ve encountered in hotels!!

The Kitchen has all the things you need and more. Good sized fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher and even a blender/smoothie maker. There is more than enough cutlery and plates/dishes. The dining table comfortably seated all of us and had more seats for guests. There is not one thing you can complain about!!

Back to the pool… fantastic!! The kids, both big and small were in it at every opportunity. The picture we saw before we arrived do not do it justice at all. It is so big. And it was all ours. I’ve seen smaller shared pools and even smaller pools in hotel grounds. It’s safe to say it exceeded our expectations. In fact the whole holiday experience exceeded our expectations. It wouldn’t of been the same had we stayed in a hotel. We are 100% returning, there’s no doubt about that.

The villa is in the perfect location, just far enough away from the centre so you don’t experience any night time noise, or even traffic noise during the day. Yet it is literally a 10 minute walk to the beach front where you have all the shops, bars, restaurants, watersports etc.

Finally, I must congratulate the owners on finding their housekeeper. Ozge. He is an absolute star. He was there when we arrived to run through all the basics, where to find things, how to use things. He provided us with his contact number and email address, which you can contact him on anytime. I can vouch for that too… World cup was on and we couldn’t find the channel on the tv… we emailed Oz (after midnight) and he came round to sort it out for us!! Luckily he is also a football fan so understood the boys desperation. Haha, He visits each morning and evening to clean the pool and water the plants so any problem or question you have, you never have to wait long before its resolved. Oz also arranges reps to come to the villa so you can price up and book activities like watersports, quad biking and excursions such as boat trips, visiting tombs/museums. The list is endless.

It’s safe to say we will never stay in a hotel again. From our initial enquiry everything has been perfect. The owners are able to answer all your questions and advise you on all sorts of queries, both big and small. Any question I asked was responded to quickly and thoroughly. Honest, genuine people
Oz, like I’ve said is a star. One of a kind. Nothing is too much trouble and meeting him was an added bonus. We are looking forward to meeting him again soon. (we are booking for next year :-D)
Overall, we couldn’t of asked for a better holiday. The owners and staff went above and beyond all our expectations and ensured we had a holiday to remember. We will be back x

12 of us visited Marmaris in May 2012 and stayed at the beautiful Villa Bougainvillaea. The property was very spacious, modern and clean. The Villa has a large private pool, plenty of sun loungers and a pretty garden. It is located on the outskirts of Marmaris, therefore not noisey at night, yet within walking distance of the marina, Turkish baths and beach front.

The pool and Villa are cleaned regularly and there is assistance available to hire cars or bikes, book day trips or find a nice restaurant to eat out at. The mud baths are highly recommended as is the trip to see the sea turtles near Dalaman! The area is simply beautiful and would recommend at least 10 days to allow sufficient time to explore the area.

The transfers to and from the airport were arranged by the owners of the Villa and worked very well for our group.

We had a fantastic time and would definitely consider going again.

We have had several Villa holidays now but this was the best by far. The Villa is very comfortable and well equipped. The pool area is just perfect, a really good size with plenty of sun beds and chairs. The Villa owner was also very helpful with info before we left.

What really helped the holiday was Oz the villa manager. He came twice a day to maintain the pool and whilst he was there was a mine of useful info and willing to help with anything we needed. He arranged for food to be delivered to the house, got Joseph the ticket agent to come to the villa to arrange some trips out ( we got picked up and returned to the villa on these). Oz also made some good restaurant recommendations.

The villa is in a great location in a quiet residential area of Marmaris. You genuinely don’t need a car as there is Tesco supermarket a 5 min stroll away, as well as a bakery and couple of independent corner shops. Marmaris harbour is a 15 minute walk or a 5 min bus ride. The buses were frequent and really easy to use.

It was the small touches that made the difference for example there is a shopping trolly to enable you to take 20Litre water bottles back from the supermarket. The pick up and return to the airport was all arranged for us and was smooth and easy.

My top tip would be too pack less clothes and barter for new ones In the shops it was great fun.

Overall a fantastic villa made even better by the care of the local manager.

We stayed here in August 2014 6 adults and 3 teenagers and had a wonderful time . We were greeted as promised at the airport and the mini bus took us directly to the villa where Ozge was waiting for us with a warm welcome . The Villa exceeded all our expectations , it was spotlessly clean and the pool was fabulous , just as big as in some hotels I am sure !! Ozge looked after us brilliantly during the stay ensuring all was well and helping us with every aspect of the holiday , he was always only a text or phone call away !I would recommend this Villa to anyone , absolutely first class !

We had an amazing time in the villa. Ozge, the administrator, advised us several good restaurants and other nice activities like driving a quad, jetski etc.

The villa was perfect and the swimming pool is real big.

If you are with a large number of people I really would advise you to book this villa.
